2019 Raul Perez 'Las Gundiñas' Lomas de Valtuille Bierzo, Spain A Tribute To Grace The vines average 30 years 20449 The vines average 30 years in age and sit on shale and sandstone with the south facing exposure the entire production is assembled and left for several months in cuve before being bottled Las Gundiñas was planted in 1910 on clay intermixed with some limestone (uncommon in Valtuille) • Mostly Mencía with some Garnacha Tintorera (Alicante Bouschet) and a relatively high percentage of Doña Blanca • Fermented with whole clusters and a long post fermentation maceration • raised for one year in used 225L and 500L barrels • bottled without fining or filtration
